    Portfolio Manager

    Victor has been in the financial services industry for nearly two decades. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations. He brings his asset management expertise to bear for your condominium corporation.

    • All investments are within the bounds of the Condominium Property Act
    • Where applicable, investments are CDIC covered (GIC’s, term deposits, etc.)
    • Proactive, prudent investment management specifically geared toward condominiums and their reserve fund needs.
    • GIC’s/Term Deposits:

      We have access to 26 issuers of CDIC guaranteed GICs.

    • Artemis Fund

      A single fund solution, created specifically for condominium properties to meet their requirements for reserve fund investment. This allows for increased liquidity rather than being locked into GIC maturity schedules.

    • Fiduciary Duty

      As a Portfolio Manager, Victor has a fiduciary duty to put his client’s interest first.  This means the actions taken are in the best interest of the condominium corporation.

  • Agile Condominium/Strata handles the reserve fund investment and associated services for our clients.

    Reserve Fund Implementation: We can implement the reserve fund and cash flows as outlined in the reserve fund study for your corporation.

    Accounts are in the name of the corporation:  We open these accounts entirely in the name of the corporation and they remain entirely property of the corporation.

    Removes the burden of investment selection and portfolio management from the board or the property manager: Because we have full discretionary authority, we can make prudent, professional decisions for you. You want this, because it ensures that you’re in line with the Condominium Property Act, but also allows you to focus on the other matters that go into running a condominium corporation.

  • What are the benefits?

    Prudent, professional management to aim for consistent and predictable returns, while staying within the confines of the Condominium Property Act.

    Is my capital safe?

    Where appropriate, investments are guaranteed by CDIC coverage. We are a member of the CIPF (Canadian Investor Protection Fund) as well. Because of the restrictions within the Condominium Property Act, we are investing in what are overall low-risk securities and portfolios.

    What’s the difference?

    There are a few companies providing this service. I believe that we stand alone with our expertise, education credentials and an investment fund specifically designed for this application.

    What is the risk?

    As mentioned above, because all of the investments are compliant with the Condominium Property Act, these investments are overall low risk, and by requirement there can be no high or speculative holdings.
